Local tax and accounting firm requires a Staff Accountant immediately. Mush be fluent in Mandarin as the clients are Chinese-speaking. Working closely with the Sr Accountants, you will be responsible for preparing T1's, T1134's and T1135's in addition to assisting with T2's, analyzing transactions, preparing journal entries and financial statements for small to medium-size businesses. You will also have the opportunity to assist with tax planning for high net worth clients.
To be successful in the role, you must be fluent in Mandarin and detailed-oriented. A minimum 1 year's experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping practice, preparing T1's is required. This firm provides a good opportunity for growth in a niche market and is supportive of the individual to complete the CPA program. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes a guaranteed bonus, a discretionary bonus, full benefits and RSP matching after one year. |
