A leading investment company with a proven track record has an immediate role in its corporate accounting group. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assisting with the preparation, completion, and analyses of financial statements - Liaising with external auditors in the preparation of year-end financials - Preparation of GST/HST and QST returns - Training and supervision of junior accounting staff in performing daily accounting operations - Reviewing internal controls to ensure policies and procedures comply with company standards - Assisting Controller and accounting staff with special projects The successful candidate will be a designated CPA with recent experience working in public practice and ideally from the enterprise/private company side. Strong accounting and tax experience combined with superb interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment will complete this profile. |
