Fast-growing accounting/consulting firm has an immediate need for a senior level staff to provide accounting/advisory services to their clients some of which are publicly-listed companies in oil & gas, mining, and entertainment as well as US entities. In addition to NTR's and review engagements, you will have the opportunity to service clients that outsource their accounting functions. These responsibilities include reviewing internal controls, preparing quarterly and annual reports, MD&A's for public companies, tax preparation, budgeting, forecasting and reviewing the work of junior staff.
To be successful in this role, you are a designated accountant (CPA) with experience preparing public company filings. Exposure to working in public practice or in an advisory services firm will be a strong asset. Proficiency in corporate taxation, strong interpersonal skills, attention to details, and the ability to multi-task are required. We will also consider non-designated accountants with proven experience managing client relations and working in public practice. The firm provides a relaxed environment, challenging assignments, and excellent compensation. Overtime is minimal but can be banked for time off.
